Opened in 2026 in Didžioji Riešė, the Šiaurės Licėjus educational complex, valued at more than EUR 16 million, stands out with its contemporary architecture and functionally designed spaces. Covering more than 8,000 m², the building was designed to seamlessly connect learning, recreation, and active leisure areas, creating a bright and inspiring environment for children. The interior features natural materials, large panoramic windows, and spaces filled with daylight.
The complex includes modern sports and dance halls, a swimming pool, community spaces, and multifunctional classrooms adapted for both lessons and extracurricular activities. The building’s architecture has been carefully integrated into the surrounding environment, maintaining a contemporary aesthetic while responding to the needs of the rapidly growing residential areas around Vilnius.
Peikko Lietuva's design team also contributed to the project by supplying DELTABEAM® Composite Beams with a total length of 146 meters. Several individually designed beams with cantilevers of nearly 3 meters made it possible to create large open spaces while preserving the architectural integrity of the building. The solutions were implemented in close cooperation with project subcontractors to align architectural vision, structural efficiency, and ensure a smooth construction process for the educational complex.
